Beautiful!!!  A friend had a Sharon Rifle Works Hawken that shot like that. They made great barrels.

I think I'd be pretty happy with that group. I tried shooting at some cans a while back. It wasn't like it used to be with a BB gun, though. The bullet just passed right through. It didn't even move the can. We decided to fill the cans with water- that changed everything. The water filled cans will rip open and fly into the air, water spraying everywhere. Who needs that explosive stuff? Not me. It's much safer and no concern over fire. Try it.

It's still a couple months away, but I love shooting hedgeapples (the fruit of the Osage Orange, or Bois d'arc). They are big enough to hit readily, and they JUMP high in the air when whacked by a roundball. Never fails to put a grin on my face!

Around here, there's the odd Horse Apple.  We also used those in South Western Ontario when we didn't have a real hockey puck.

They'd also be fun to shoot- frozen or fresh.
