Last weekend I was poking around at a flea market and I came across a table with a pile of assorted hammers and typical old tools. Nothing was too exciting except for a small box with a name/address and the tile of Uhrmacher. I opened the box and found and assortment of small files around 7" long. They are numbered and all made in Switzerland. They were all still wrapped in the brown tissue paper and unused.
After agreeing to a price, I took them home and done a bit of investigation. The stamp on the box was used from 1941-1948. I haven't tried them yet but they appear to be some of the most finely made files I have ever seen.
