That is some strong tea!  Looks good.  Maybe rub the typical wear areas back a little?

That wear on the high edges will come naturally once he starts using it. I like it how it is.

Actually I didn't like the way those knives were looking.  My Blade shape and staining are still evolving.  Some of those blades I re-ground several times...
