Thanks for taking note of it. Jason was too kind in offering to do the feature. All publicity is good publicity.

It was also good to meet you at the show!!!

Congrats to both Ron and Casey. I don`t know Ron but, I`ve known Casey  for some time. Casey`s knifemaking  has really progressed . I have commissioned him to make a knife for me. A really nice guy and, good friend , even if he does always have the hair shaved off one forearm.   Nate

I'd love to see pictures of Casey's knives.  Is there a web site or pictures posted somewhere?

I do not want to hijack the tread, but here is a knife that I did for guy not too long ago. It was made specifically for the beautiful quill work sheath.

Blade is 3inches, antler crown handle, through tang peened over a silver encap. Overall the knife has an aged appearance.

Congratulations  Ron and Casey on being featured in the recent copy of Muzzleloader Magazine. You both are doing fine work. I have one of Ron's horns that I was gifted by a dear friend, Mark Hamel. I am very proud of this horn and it was a pleasure meeting and visiting with Ron at the CLA show last week. I look forward to seeing more fine work by both of you.     Bob

Beautiful knife Casey.  How did you stain it...Tea or Fiebing's perhaps?

Congratulations to both, always good to see nice work receive some recognition.

Casey, nice job pairing the knife with that sheath. Not always as simple as some may think to make things look like they belong together. Any idea who made the quilled sheath?

Yes actually it is a Bill Wright piece. It was my plan to purchase one from him at the the CLA. I work 3rds and had to come home and take a couples hours nap before the show. Got there around 11am and he had sold all of his neck knife sheaths by the time I made it around to him.

He does a great quill work and it is the most competitively priced in the trade.
