I bought it, fellers; had wanted one since DGW first pre-advertised them.
Yes: it has had quite a bit of lead down the barrel; in very good shape, but it's definitely a veteran.
As advertised, whoever built it, aged it; time has added to the "mellow".
Grease hole was plugged, at some point; looks to me like it was done during the original assembly.
I don't see anything like a number on the exterior; don't remember seeing one on the underside of the barrel, either. Only markings on the topside of the barrel are, "Dixie Gun Works", with "Union City, Tennessee" below. So I don't know whether it's Belgian or Japanese.
