Need info on Alfred Gross rifles

I have been asked to recreate an Alfred Gross rifle.   I have good photos of a very fancy silver mounted one and a plain iron mounted one.   What i don't have is data.    Specifically,  I am interested in whether the barrels were straight or swamped.    To the best of my memory, they were more straight than swamped, but I don't know if I could get away with using a straight barrel or not.   If anyone has any data on the barrels,  I would appreciate it.    I am trying to make something as close to an original as possible.   Thanks.

Yes !!  All information on AFG is transmitted in code.  On a need to know basis only.......

I was curious as well. So many of the guns from this area had slightly swamped barrels, barely perceptible. I have seen a lot of Appalachia rifles with a "blob" on either end as well. But if AFG info is super secret I guess I'll just have to stay in the dark. ;)

The barrels that I have measured are similar to what Mike mentioned. At a glance they appear straight. If you put a  micrometer on them you are likely to find a bit of swamp. The few rifles that he made as flint (that I have checked) had longer barrels, 46 and 47 inches.  Also they were bigger and a bit more swamp.
The percussion had a 43 inch barrel and smaller. Sorry I have forgot the measurements. But this rifle also showed a bit of swamp. I recall thinking, considering the barrel making process at that time it was  probably within the margin of error ??
Don't report me on this I would be accused of GROSS espionage .......LP
