Montana Historical Gunmakers Guild seeking new members
« on: December 20, 2017, 06:29:20 AM »
Please move if this isn't the right forum for this.

The Montana Historical Gunmakers Guild is starting it's next year and I was asked to post on the forum to see if there were any forum members interested in joining. We currently have members from surrounding states as well as Montana. We have monthly meetings on the 2nd Saturday of each month January-June. Our annual 3-day gunmakers fair is the 2nd weekend in August. We also have a Christmas social in December.

I'm not often on-line, so it's best to call me if you might be interested.

I am in Illinois for the moment. We are relocating to Montana in summer 2018. Probably around the Kalispell or Libby area. I would like to become a member.

Kalispel & surrounding country was quite nice when I visited Les Bauska and John Buhmiller in '75.

I may try to come down in August. Too far to drive very often, from the Flathead country. Especially since I don't like to drive!

Oh hey there Ric.  You should come to the gunmaker's fair next year. It's a good time for all.

Thanks for the replies. I'll probably check responses about once a week.

Greetings, I live in Bozeman, MT and am interested in making contact with builders/restorers of Longrifles. I have sent a picture of Pedersoli Kentucky that I rescued. It was built as a kit but was very poorly put together and or finished.

That looks pretty good from what I can see. Next meeting is the second weekend in May. Bob will give you the details. Bring your gun along with you.

I’m in Helena and I already have it on the calendar
When a nation forgets her skill in war, when her religion becomes a mockery, when the whole nation becomes a nation of money-grabbers, then the wild tribes, the barbarians drive in... Who will our invaders be? From whence will they come?
