Several years ago I decided we needed to actually test every lock we make before they go out to customers. Testing is not complete unless there's a flint striking the frizzen to see if the darn thing actually sparks. Without good sparks a lock is only a paper weight or a good way to keep your bait at the bottom of the lake. So, we put a flint in each lock and just leave it there as a little bonus when you buy one of our locks.
