Many of you mention that you never have access to original Kentucky Long Rifles so those of you within driving distance of Jamestown KY may want to act on Mel Hankla's invitation to attend his February show: http://americanlongrifles.org/forum/index.php?topic=47241.0

 I have always wanted to attend (and the AL show: http://americanlongrifles.org/forum/index.php?topic=46549.0 ) but have always had a conflict, this years its back surgery in late Jan or early Feb. Take it from me, you need to attend these shows while you are young and healthy :)

Well dang.  We'll miss again.  Here's to your back surgery giving you the relief that you need. 

Feels like the LC show weekend right now, so maybe we get a wx break about then.  8)

Anyone coming, do be aware that there's nothing but the SP out there.  You'll eat in the restaurant there, or you'll eat what you brought. Pack accordingly. We usually eat in the dining hall once or twice and "snack" otherwise.
