Prize for the 21st Annual Shandaken Primitive Biathlon
« on: January 07, 2018, 12:49:06 AM »
This is this year’s prize to the winner of the Shandaken Primitive Biathlon on January 14, 2018.. It’s made of alum-tanned woodchuck hide, some bark tan deer and antique textiles. Enjoy

“The Shandaken Primitive Biathlon is an annual winter sporting event using any style snowshoes and black powder muzzle loading firearms.

It is held at the Upper Esopus Fish & Game Club, Little Peck Hollow Rd, in the Oliverea Valley, Town of Shandaken, in the heart of the Catskill Mountains of New York State.”

More info on the biathlon here: https://www.shandakenprimitivebiathlon.net

Hope to see you there!

WOW! THAT is a beauty, the only thing it needs is to have a persona built around it. Well done Eric.

It also looks like the purse I want to give my wife for her upcoming birthday.  However, I don't think that she would appreciate that.  She'd return it to me, and I would then get to enjoy it for its intended use with my BP rifle(s).  A "Win" for me.

Thanks Tim,
I know you know how much work it can take to make something appear convincingly crude...
