Maybe I've seen to many horns, I had an idea and ran with it. This one is about 12 1/2" around the outside curve, about 10 Tip to Tip. The Maple butt, is about 2 1/4", held in with Seven wooden pegs. The butt and finial are threaded 1/2-6 tpi. The tip is Two parts threaded to each other and to the horn with 5/58-11tpi. The collar is Antler the tip itself horn. Color is from an old batch of mixed dyes followed by Brown Shoe polish then buffed.

Very nice. I like the colors and how clean everything looks. Sometimes these more complicated construction horns look cluttered and busy to me. I really like this one.

I like the threading, both the really nifty tip as well as the screw in base plug. Using horn and bone was a great idea, as it gives the tip even more interest. Well done sir. God Bless, Marc

I like the contrast between the horn and the antler.
