They all seem tall. And some are nightmarish.
Some time ago I made a few double set triggers that had a latch
that captured the rear trigger in the set position. This latch was
built into the front trigger and was adjustable by a small 2x64
screw also in the front trigger. The front trigger did not change
positions no matter how fine the latch was set to work. One of
my German friends called it a "Stecherrastl".I think this was in
the 1980's and I made one of them and a German styled schuetzen
lock for barrel maker Ken Bresien in Warsaw,NY.
I made and donated another set to the NMLRA in 1987 and the lock
was found in a flea market and no idea as to the fate of the triggers,
probably scrapped. This lock was engraved by engraver Norris Sperry
who did work for Colt and Smith&Wesson as well as private contracts.
He also donated his time and later when I told him of the fate that
befell the lock he said,"Never again to donations"and even before
this his opinion of the NMLRA was very low.
