Little projects that use up all your time !
« on: February 19, 2018, 07:18:39 AM »
With an almost endless stream of little projects to complete and things to make for people, there just isn't any time for the larger ones I would like to work on....or even to do a little work on the larger projects.  This is just a few of the things that have had to be completed and sent out in the last couple of weeks.

As they say, "No rest for the wicked...and the good don't need it !"

Smylee,

The ends of the hammer head are nylon.

And James....as opposed to your lovely new work space......here is what I contend with......

A plethora of projects.....including dental work....... :o

Dave, as always the quality shows on all these items. The one that catches my eye is the little white pan brush. Nice work! Nate

Nate.....Thanks.  The white pan brush handle is made of antler.

Pardon my ignorance...

What is the purpose of the hammer?

( Yes, I am aware it is a striking tool. I am wondering how it used in relation to muzzleloading)

BTW those are all gorgeous works of craftsmanship... Even if I am befuddled by the purpose of some of them.

Mike,

It's a hammer I make for gunsmithing.  I make them with different size brass or steel heads or, like this one, with nylon inserts on one or both faces.

OK Dave that makes sense. All the other gear was stuff that a guy might expect to find in a shooting bag or worn on a belt/around the neck... I couldn't figure out where the hammer fit in.

Well actually, I have seen footage of guys using a hammer to start a ball down the bore. But I didn't think anyone here would resort to that. Lol

Thanks for filling me in.

Gee those are cool!

In my case the little projects are:
Fixing the front door,
Getting tires rotated on the hunting/camping car,
gluing chairs back together,
patching a dent in the wall from something falling over,
fixing the oven broiler,
 >:(

When I should be doing stuff on my equipment and clothing for the hobby!   ;)
