Little Southern Horn
« on: April 05, 2018, 05:39:07 AM »
I am sharing a little horn I recently finished.   It is not based on any particular original horn.   It was made to client specifications, but I like how it turned out.   It is a screw-tip about 14.5" around the outside curve and about 2.375" at the base plug.    The actual horn is a little darker and more orange.   The strobes washed it out some.

Very nice. Great for a day horn and a stroll through the woods.

I like the horn too. Business like, no nonsense but still enough "extra detail" to give it some pazaz.

Tim,  the bag is just my standard early VA bag.   It is very popular.   I make it just like an original that Wallace Gusler had.

I thought that's what it might be, that's why I asked. I have admired that bag since the first time I saw it and you do a great job on them.

  Thanks, For The Pic, Tim

That is a nice rig Mark. Not flashy, but the bones and the details make quite the desirable setup. I like the texture you added to the body of the bag. That is a mighty handsome horn too. Great finishes on both. Very tasteful. God Bless, Marc

Very nice set. Not sure I'd call it a little horn but I certainly call it nice.
