Russ Hamm Lock

I picked up a Hamm percusion lock also marked Dean Mitton, mainspring is gone. Do springs have to be custom made?

Dixie gun Works sells some springs with an elongated tit that can be trimmed to fit the lockplate.

Dean Mitton bought the Hamm lock business many years
ago.

You're welcome but these were NEVER quality locks and
are known for trouble.
