Nice knife.

white tail antler (found it at a pet store in the chew toys of all places)

Pet stores are useful places. I've picked up a couple of antler tines for measures at the local Petsmart, before they apparently went to split antlers exclusively, and one can get cleaned bones and even rawhide there as well...

How do you know it is white tail?

Thank you

You are right about them being useful places, I too have picked up rawhide chews for some of my work.

That is their claim I suspect it may be axis or some other, I picked up four pieces at the same time but haven't seen anymore since.
I would like to find more.  It is a small local owned store so they will call me if they get anymore like it.

That is a serious looking blade.  Nicely proportioned for such a long blade.  Well done.  God Bless,   Marc
