club butt research
«

I'm in the very beginning stages of researching a future club butt build. I looking for any recommended reference material as well as any museums etc. that would have a display of originals. I have Tom Grinslade fowler book and of course the search function here but I'm hoping to see a few originals. Thanks for any help.

I’d like to see more, too, but do not know of other resources.
Do a google search

Look at Mike Brooks website. He has several club butt fowlers he has recreated.

The Smithsonian Museum of American History has/had one on display. We were there in 2013. It is a Brown Bess restocked as a Club butt.

You might want to list the area where you live so you may get local recommendations on where to see some.

David, Mike Brooks site and his posting of club butts on here is how I caught this club butt bug.

How'd you know?! That piece of wood has not quieted down since I put it in the bed of the truck. It wants to be a club butt.

The Royal Armory in Leeds. The Musee d'Armee in Paris. Those are a couple of places to search around. You might try contacting Razpla and Dave Person too. Maybe TRS?
