Mystery flintlock lock, maybe Bedford?

HURRAY! I finally found a way to post photos here! 
I have had this lock for quite a while and don't recall where I got it. For the longest time I thought this was a Dutch lock but the more I learn, it seems like it could be an American made piece. Lately I have been able to get my hands on some fine Bedford County locks to make molds from and I do find similarities. I have castings for one cock that would fit and look OK. If there are any Bedford/Somerset County rifle gurus out there, I would appreciate any input. What do you think?

Looks like a British trade lock, or an American copy.

It’s slendermess is exceptional unless you have fingers like those on a baseball glove.  The length to height ratio looks right for a Bedford flintlock.

My hands are not small but by no means overly large.  It is a slender plate.

Could this be a Somerset County lock? Guns made there are similar to Bedford made guns, but not known for the classic Bedford rattailed locks.

I don't think its Bedford either, But they are certainly not all alike....Here is one example...LP
