Wonderful work, Runar!  I had been wondering how you would make that fancy, tapered nose cap.  You are really moving along on your new pistol project.

R, that is a particularly nice pistol you have "rebuilt"!  Seems that you have re-done the whole pistol - and made a fantastic firearm.

My hat is off to you.  I would be proud carrying that pistol!

Amazing work as always Runar! You take on projects that most people would run away from and you see them through to the finish!  Thanks for posting your rebuild of this pistol.  I always enjoy seeing your projects.

Hi Guys! And thank you fahnenschmied!
Breach plug made from 20mm bolt tang welded on.
Runar

That original breech plug has 3 threads - just like the "Made in India" India Pattern Brown Bess I bought.  Unlike that Brown Bess, these threads look like real threads, not something filed out with a 3-corner file.
Sorry for the distraction.

Nice work, Runar.

Well, Runar, some people may get you confused with Rolf - but I wouldn't mind having a firearm from each of you!

Maybe one of Rolf's "jewelry" guns I could use to shoot spiders?  And one of yours to enter shooting matches with?  That will work fine!

I think you've got me confused with Adrie Luke from Netherlands. He makes miniature guns. I do full scale guns. Runar calls them "jewelery" because I'm more fussy with the finishing. Here is a link to a pair of pistols.
