Brown over blue

A while back I used perma blue on barrel  and then heat and plum brown.  This gave a color
That was too bronzy.  Has anyone else tried this and what are your thougts about it.

Always best to re-polish/prep the metal to be browned; but if  not; one can repeat the browning process, carding in between applications, 6-9 times till you get the brown you like. You will possibly get some rainbow mottling, but as you continue to apply browning and card evenly, the results ought to be okay...if not...polish and try again
