Ram Rod Hole Depth

When drilling the ramrod hole, do you drill to depth of face of the breech plug or the back end
Of the barrel? Thanks

For me it depends on whether you are going to pin or use a screw to attach the front triggerguard extension.  If a pin will be used to attach the front triggerguard extension, I drill the full length of the barrel.  If I know a screw will be used then I drill 1/2" shorter than the barrel length so the threads have wood to grab.
