Bob,

Even with this type of barrel securing  device, these guns are not fast take down. If it is like mine, the tang screw must be removed, as the breeches are not hooked.
Of course, this  one Could have hooked breeches, but many of these Belgian / French guns do not.
The stock has some elements of Belgian etc, but some other elements very out of character.

To remove the  barrels is not  has easy has it looks , although the  breeches are hocked see images

This is definitely a European gun. Pull  the barrels and check for proof marks and barrel makers marks.
