At the range the other day I was moving the front sight of my Cabela's Hawken so as to bring the rear sight to the center of the adjustment marks. When I was done, the front sight was noticeably off-center - not glaringly but noticeably. Of course should have been the expected result since the rear sight was off several clicks with the front sight looking centered.
A couple of people thought that the way I did it was going to cause POI to diverge from POA at varying distances. Should I have done it differently?
