A couple patch knives
« on: December 18, 2018, 04:08:55 AM »
I finished these up this week. The top knife is a Christmas gift for my brother. The bottom knife was commissioned and the owner wanted a match for a knife he already had. Both are 1084 steel with three inch blades. I think I’m going to add a silver inlay to the pommel of the top knife...maybe, I don’t know. I also might darken the antlers a bit.

I love the smell of Walnut shavings in the morning!

Very nice...I like the proportions of both very much, and they appear to be of a handy size.  Strong black coffee will darken the antler nicely, or just let ‘em age with use.
