For those folks interested - My "Masterpiece" rifle, which was featured in the center fold of the Oct. 2018 issue of Muzzle Blasts Will be on display at the Dallas Safari Club Convention, in the American Custom Gunmaker's Guild section,  Jan. 17 - 20 2019.  The exposition is at the "Kay Bailey Hutchinson" convention center.  Check ACGG web. site for hrs. and admittance fee.  Thanks for looking,     Hugh Toenjes

I found some time to go check this out at the show over the weekend. Hugh was busy talking to someone else. The gun is better looking in person than in the photos for sure. Its an impressive piece. I know some people had reservations about the gun when it was discussed before, but there is no doubting the overall quality of the work and the results.
I am the Lead Historian and a Firearms Specialist at Rock Island Auction Co., but I am here out of my own personal interests in muzzle loading and history.
