Barrel makers marks?

If a gun is pinned into the stock how can you tell if it's swamped and who made the barrel? any photos of barrel makers marks?

Take the barrel out of the gun. Just take a couple measurements to see if it's swamped.

If the maker has marked the barrel it is usually on the bottom flat at the breech. The makers name is usually stamped along with caliber/ twist/ style
To tell if it is swamped: look at the muzzle (from above), Look at the breech (from above), then look at the middle (from above) If any look to be different widths it's probably swamped.
