Diamond plate sharpening stones...Brand?

I've done some research on Steel electroplated monocrystalline diamond stones. I'm not experienced with these and don't want to buy junk.

What brand or seller's have you experienced guys used to acquire your diamond stones?

    They are DMT DiaSharp® Stones, I have a Coarse, Fine and Extra Fine. I still use an India stone, about 400 to shape up a rough edge or to a Burr and then switch to the DiaSharps.  Then polish on leather glued to a thin board. I use Two one with the rough side up and then one with the hair side up, the first with a buffing compound on it the second with Polishing. Sometimes, on carving knives, I use Mothers polish on a piece of 2000 wet/dry paper that is glued to a thin board, it gives a very high polish.

I bought a "CHEAP" diamond sharpening 'stones' on a rotating base from Princess Auto
in fine, medium and coarse. They are all too coarse for sharpening knives, but work well
 on hatchets, tomahawks and axes.

DMT DiaSharp® Stones.

I have grades 220, 600, 1200, and 8000. They also work good with the Veritas guides.

I use the DMT Diasharp(3x8) and Duosharp(2x6).   I use a course and a fine in the Diasharp for large tools. The Duo sharp has a different grit on each side and I use a extra course/course and a fine/extra fine.    I use the 2 Duosharp with a piece of cardstock between them with my Lindsay sharpening system.

I've actually fallen in love with India and Arkansas stones. I got 120-hard black (about 1200). Also like water stones. Just never cared much for the diamond stones I've tried.

 Stones are good until dropped or dished out. Gave mine away.

Been using DMT continuous-type (no holes) for a long time. Used to keep my razor-honing waterstones flat too.  Coarse and fine in the DMT's and if I need a higher polish I do that with waterstones or abrasive paper. 

Razor guys are into ceramic/diamond stones and diamond compounds as well.  I've not messed with either of those.

Bought some cheap combo "diamond" block yesterday.  Still undecided on it.  Seems much coarser than the "ratings".  May only be good for very coarse work--and if it'll hold up to that, then it was worth the money.  Unimpressed so far, but it's early.
