Hey y'all. I have a very nicely done 10 ga fowling gun that I bought from Dixon's in PA a number of years ago. The barrel is signed "C Kirby" and the lock plate is stamped "C.J. Kirby". I would love to learn of Mr. Kirby. The gun is very well made with simple but neatly done engravings and a bit of incised carving. It MAY have begun life as a Chamber's kit. It has a Chamber's round face lock and a 46" octagon to round, tapered barrel.
So again, does anyone know Mr. Kirby?
