A Couple Of Double Lobed Horns

One of these horns will get matched up with set Marcruger and I are working on for the CLA auction Lexington in August.
The first one; It is about 14” around the outside curve, tip-to-tip it is about 11”. The Pine plug is held in by Six wooden pegs. The tip is paneled. Color is some old dark dyes followed by Dark Brown oil based leather dye while it was still hot from the color bath.
The second is about 12 ½” around the outside curve, tip-to-tip it is 10. The Pine plug is about 2 ¼” held by Six wooden pegs. The tip is paneled and scalloped. Color is the same as above.

Something fishy about those horns.
Great lines as always.

I like ‘em both...it would be hard to decide between them!

They look great. I really like that color. I also think the facets cut on the second horn really give it a special look.... Who knew, I like facets.

The second horn is now matched up with the bag. Thanks for the complements.

Both horns are even better in person. I have one the same color with “teeth” instead of a lower lobe from CLA in ‘17. Really neat. God bless, Marc
