I too pondered the tri angle approach, have never done it that way on any barrel I have hand inlet. Having been a draftsman for 30 yrs might have skewed my brain and made me myopic. Just another way to "get there" I guess.

My wife makes sure I am OSHA compliant when it comes to eye and ear protection.  I'm sure she wants to eliminate as many excuses as she can for me not listening to her.  ;D
