Flintlock rifle.
« on: April 03, 2019, 06:37:46 PM »
Hello everybody,

Finally I started a new project. It is about time, I worry about everybody, to be busy!
I started to make an over under Flintlock pistol half scale. It is French and from 1650.
Only the lock is a head breaker. It is older but not easier, I think. We will see.

Adrie, from looking at your past work I think you will get it figured out and it looks like your progress so far is top notch. I look forward to watching this build. Best wishes.  Smylee  :)

Adrie, your skill with the little things is fantastic!
Is that going to be a swivel breech pistol?  Those barrels are really nice.
Looking forward to see more as you progress.

Thanks Adrie I appreciate the support  - Is this going to be a swivel or are you making that strange double pan lock with the "tunnel" touch hole in it for the bottom barrel?

Today I made the swivel system and it works well!
Just some pictures.
