Jim Filipski Rifle on the Blog Spot
« on: June 26, 2009, 05:03:52 PM »
Just a beautiful rifle - architecture, decoration, finish.  Really outstanding - elegant and sort of understated.   I like the choice of the engraving on the sideplate - sort of brings an English or French influence to it.

Lots of folks tend to overdo stepped wrist architecture - but this one is a good example of how it can just work and flows perfectly when done right.

No full length photos - is it a jaeger or a transitional style rifle?

Guys - check it out - those of you who like early style rifles will like this one.
