Another target
« on: June 12, 2009, 04:05:35 PM »

Intended to test new patching and arrived all primed and ready at the range; but left the new patching at home.  Senior moment I guess! :-[

Fired 8 shots over the chunk with the ol lady and she grouped decent with the first shot high a tad....didn't prove a darn thing except dance with who you brought! ;)

Good shooting Roger! Now can you do the same thing on Sunday when the pressure is on?

Nice target, Roger - but in British Columbia at the Provincial competitions, they'd score either 2 or 4 misses if that was supposed to be an 8 or 10 shot target.  That is why I quit shooting their competitions until they learn to score.  Sorry - just griping`. The person who made that ruling is incapable of making a group/pattern that doesn't have paper between each hole, hense feels no one else is capable of it either.  Ooops, still griping.

Actually that is the reason the chunk match is traditionally 10 one shot matches/relays at 60 yds.  And actually why the 6 bull target was designed. That particular day I was simply shooting to see if she still shot a tight group............

Yeah- it's OK, but still needs some work - note the top three hits, the fouling shot, top one, of course, doesn't count, so it's those 2 fliers off to the left would bother me some. Still, you are getting old! ;D

I think when Roger refers to shaders, that's Lehighton slang for scope.  ;D
