Chambers flintlocks question
« on: July 13, 2019, 08:33:06 PM »
Guys,

I have been gone for a bit, and am just back recently.  Upon my return, like many here, I learned of Barbie Chambers recent medical challenges.  The Almighty received my prayers for her and her family.
My question has to do with Chambers Flintlocks, the business.  My question has to do with whether they continue in business.  Are they still selling their excellent products?
Now, some may say, Ez, just give them a call or email.  I was hesitant to do so as I did not want to possibly be a distraction to Barbies recovery.  Anyone know?

I had sent them an email about whether they can reduce LOP on a build back on 7/5.  She responded on the next Monday.

I talked to Karen C. last week and sounded like lock production was proceeding as usual.

Just call 'em up. I talked to Barbie a couple of weeks ago. Great folks, great products.

With Karen and Barbie both going through treatments for breast cancer at the same time this year it has definitely been a challenge these past few months.  We are a little behind on production, but we are working as fast as humanly possible.  Both girls have finished their treatments and are well on the way to a full recovery.  We all plan on being at Dixon's event week after next.  Stop by and say hello to the girls.  They might even sell you a lock or a whole rifle kits.
I'll also have some of the custom rifles from the Bob Roughton collection there for sale.  He had the best from the best makers, and bargains are to be had.  Bring some money and take home a real treasure.

I didn't  know Karen was going through it as well, when I talked to her last week. God bless and watch over them both.

Jim is a great guy and has developed a nice business but make no mistake about it- the ladies run the show!
Karen is always a pleasure to talk with and talking with Barbie brightens up my day.
Isn't it nice when prayers are answered?
