I think so to, Hungry Horse. With the current run of wide groove, narrow land barrels from Rice and Green Mountain, I
would personally not use a Douglas bl. for a current build. that muzzle appears about identical to groove depth, land
width to the bl. that was on my .32 when I bought it. for 3 years I tried to get it to shoot less than 1 1/2" at 50 yards
and failed. I used 2 different diameters of balls and 4 different patch thicknesses, to no avail. At that same time I could
shoot either my .40 or .45 and produce groups under 3/4" virtually every time at the same range.
