An old bag lives again

I rescued this shooting bag from a man that said he hadn't used it for many years. It smelled musty and the leather was dry. I gave it a treatment of Skidmores Leather Cream and it came back to life. I thought it would make a good bag for my 16ga Smoothbore.

With that horn they make a great pair. Makes you wonder how many more are languishing in barns, shops and attics. Thanks for saving this one.

Very nice set. I use skidmores on my motorcycle saddle bags.  It’s some pretty good stuff.

It's a big bag that's why I choose it as a fowler bag. Dimensions are 12" X 9 3/4". It has a large pocket on the back side of the bag and the lined inside has small pockets on the inside. The buttons on the flap are only decorative and not for securing the flap to the bag.

That's one of the nicest I've seen, Lobo.

Looks like some very nice workmanship on that bag.  Great find!
