New fowling Piece by Roy Stroh

Roy made this fowling piece from a 14 gauge, 48-inch Charles Burton barrel he had laying around and a Davis lock with a broken mainspring from a gun he rebuilt for someone. He cast all the hardware and the stock is walnut. Weighs just under 7 lbs. Hoping to burn some powder when it arrives here tomorrow and I get off work...

Very interesting 'take' on the pitch. I think it might be difficult to keep on the shoulder, sliding down, that is.
14 bore is a cool size indeed. Like the stock for A Heads-Up Style of Shooting indeed.
