Thanks, he’s an 8 point The Wardens said he was 3.5 years old and weighed 147 field dressed according too their scales.

According too my 62 year old body it sure felt heavier while dragging and loading it.

Yeah smo, that's the bad side of killing a deer or hog, or bear, getting it out. Especially when on the other side of 60.

You've got that right about getting deer or elk or hog out of the woods after 60.  Last deer I shot was a 275 lb (dressed!) doe out in Oklahoma.  Took me about an hour to get the carcass off the ground and into my HHR!  She was a fat doe, with a very thick fur coat.  Wish I still had the hide.  The meat got eaten fairly quickly!!
