Matted Tow Rehab

An observation for those interested & sorry for no before and after fotos.

I just used a flea comb to rehab some badly matted tow. It worked exceptionally well!

Extremely cool. I am new to the use of tow but have found it cleans a gun every bit as good as any cotton patch, and is reusable many times.

TOW cleans better than a patch, but a patch dries better. I wash my TOW until it gets too grimed up and then it becomes wadding for the smoothbore.
