I've never heard of that weapon, but it sounds like an interesting project. I'd like to see how you handle the missing ramrod.

For those not familiar with a pilar breech here is a cut away photo. The bullet has a hollow base you ram it down against the pillar hard enough to expand the bullet enough to engage the rifling.
Would like to know how they cleaned around the pillar!

Runar, your ability to come up with, and repair to good order, some of the most unusual firearms I've ever seen is remarkable. Please keep us posted as you go.

Thank you guys! Doc Rolf is a tad better in English than me hehe ;)Yes Dennis thats it! Ok, I start With withdraw the breech plug and you see the pillar in photo. Drive first a hexagon and then a bolt dia ca 17,7mm of brass from the breech to the muzzle and the bulge dissappeared

Considering the outside appearance, the internals look good. I would have thought the pillar breach would be all rusted or missing metal due to erosion. I would also think that lots of water would be needed to clean such a weapon.

That repair work is impressive, Runar! You have a lot of knowledge, and a LOT of patience, to be repairing or duplicating all these firearms.

Hi all! and thank you guys! So its the front barrel band, it is made of 4 parts silver solder together. I have a original band for copy and making this band is a BIG job I know! Start With a brass pipe.
