After finishing that Southern rifle I am caught up now. I recently acquired a .60 cal x 44" Getz barrel that looks perfect for the "JOH SCRIEHT 1761" (RCA-18) rifle. So I am thinking of building that rifle again with a nice piece of cherry this time. Since most of the carving is incised it should work just fine and be quite unique, maybe even stunning! I will build it to my dimensions but it will be for sale, so if someone is interested I could change the dims. now before I get started.
Here is the 1st RCA-18 I built in 2014, it had a Getz .54 cal. x 46" brrl. & Chambers Early Germanic lock:

That’s a good big honking rifle! Great architecture and finely done. You’re really churning them out, Tom!

I believe John profiled this brrl. to the dimensions of the original which was .60 cal. x 43 5/16" long and swamped the same. I think I will leave it at 44" though.
