Scottish Horn
« on: November 12, 2019, 07:27:51 PM »
This is an image of a little Scottish Flat horn I did awhile back for a friend.
The steel pistol, dirk, news paper and Jacobite toasting glass (only the stem is shown here)
are all original pieces.

Really looks nice, Mr. Albert.

What might that be at the top left and bottom right of the central braid?  I thought it might be a snakes head and tail, but enlarging...well, looks like something scary that came from the black lagoon.

Envious of your talent and artistic spirit.

Well, Mr. Albert, in addition to the well deserved complimentary posts about this horn, that is a really nice photo.
Dubious artisan, semi-literate writer, pretend photographer, woeful speaker, impractical dreamer, hoarder of distractions, purveyor of irrelevance, connoisseur of whimsy, prolific starter, paltry finisher.

Thanks for all the kind words.
The creature is more of a Nordic
Dragon than a snake. Nessie maybe?
Thanks again,
