Powder horns in Alaska
« on: December 16, 2019, 06:15:44 AM »
Check out these fabulous powder horns Ron Hess sent to us. What could possibly go better with a long rifle. Theses will be cherished items for the rest of our lives. Finally got most of the group back together to get this photo in front of our little knife shop. Your generosity is very much appreciated . GA Turner sure knows how to make a great horn. Thanks again. Johnny

Good deal, nice rifles and horns. Time for a pouch and knife to round out the set. Those kids look like proud mountain rifle owners!

Well now that young fellow on the far left casts a real frontier image with that cap.  :)

Fashion trend, I guess so when your pony tail shows on the front like the lad working at the vice.  ;D I love it and keep up the good work. Those kids are an inspiration to all of us.

Very nice. It's amazing about Alaska. I grew up there and it's never left me. God's own country that is.....

The lad on the far left has a few years to grow into that rifle he's holding. Kinda like a future bench mark I imagine but it is certainly incentive to drink all your milk and eat your vegetables.  ;)

Hello from Raleigh County Johnny.  Below is Kibler kit in walnut I put together last June.  Got first place in the offhand flint hunting rifle in the marksman class with a score that rivaled the Master class at Friendship with it last September.  Really good shooters for sure...……….I know the children there are learning from the best.  Regards...……….Bob
