ID on Antique Pistol Barrel
« on: December 30, 2019, 08:11:17 PM »
I have an antique pistol barrel with a stamped proof mark of "ND", & also four file marks on the bottom of the barrel. There is another proof mark that I can not read. 8" long, 69 cal, smooth bore. 2" tang. Originally I thought an English Boarding pistol. Can any one ID? A few pics. Thanks, Jim.

Martial pistol of some sort.  Being .69, likely English or French?
