re-forged from an old sawmill blade (~.91% carbon) with iron bolsters & local antler shed scales.
Hand forged and heat treated with full ownership, this is based on the english trade folding knife we often see; I drew my specific inspiration from one I saw on display at the Fort Ligonier museum. This was my first attempt at such a knife.

The other one beside it is based on some folders as show in L'art du coutelier. Similar blade composition with figured maple scales. (sorry I do not have any individual pics of that one handy)

This was forged from an old file and differentially heat treated. It is a good slicer blade profile and I envisioned it slicing meat from a roast in the tavern; hence Colonial Slicing Knife. As I remember the blade is about ~10" long and the handle is figured maple with brass pins and it host an iron furrle.
