Little bag screwdriver
« on: January 02, 2020, 02:47:49 AM »
I forged and filed a little screwdriver for my shooting bag. One end is for the cock screw, side nails and tang bolt. The short end will fit most lock internals.

Looks good. What did you use for the steel.

That thing will lay nicely in the bottom of a bag and take up zero room. Love it.

I used to make them out of Allen screw wrenches.

I made a couple of small turnscrews from a broken spring , (like a mainspring) and a buffalo toe bone.  We still find the buffalo bones on the farm here.
Toe bones make good handles, short and nicely shaped.
