Gents, Sharing some photos of a rifle I picked up about a month ago from the colonial era town of Bath N.C .
I really liked it due to the fed eagle as I have a 1812 period sword with some eagle engravings on the blade and thought this would be nice to display with it. Being a novice so I throw out Western Penn made rifle with some trepidation. Maybe 1830's or later as the Percussion looks original to the rifle. There is a unreadable stamping on top of the barrel. I did take it apart but did not find anything else of note. It does have deep rifling so it wasn't shot much. Thanks for looking and sharing any input.
Best regards,
Bob
