Anyone identify this builder ???

I was wondering if anyone could maybe help identify this builder ??? It's a 58 caliber Smoothbore rifle, the top flat and the lock both have the name Fox.....I haven't been able to come up with anything. The gun came from eastern Ohio area. Has some relief carving and some engraving overall a nice well built. Would just like to know some history on the builder. Thanks for your time and trouble. Have a good day.

Looks like a nice one. I spent a few minutes googling waiting on my breakfast this morning and came up with nothing. Probably a random guy doing it as a hobby like many of us. Don’t give up looking. Something may be out there.

Gordy,
    Perhaps Murphy Fox? A contemporary builder/Anthropologist from the '80s-90's. Last address I have for him is General Delivery, Last Chance Gulch, Helena,Mt. If it is Murphy, tell him we still owe each other a fine Irish whiskey
