I think everyone should take a really good look at this rifle for an exceptional example of what a brand new 18th century rifle should look like!  If you haven't seen Chris's work up close and personal, you don't know what you're missing and believe me you're missing a lot.  His work is always 100% and I think the historical accuracy is always 100% outstanding.

I was just looking over his work at the Lewisburg show and while we spent a lot of time playing with his new German lock (which is surely the finest production lock made to date imho) and frantically putting out the subsequent fires on his table blanket every time we sparked it, I couldn't stop going over the rifles he had there either.  Simply fantastic work.
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government!
