Rifling a shotgun barrel?

I like to think ahead 2-3 guns of the one I am actually working on and I was looking thru my bucket of barrels the other day and the 33" barrel from a single-barrel breech loader caught my eye.  I immediately pictured a second model Baker rifle as inspiration.  The nitro-proofed steel barrel has a .710 bore with an outside breech diameter of 1.1" and a muzzle diameter of .870".  This would give a breech wall thickness of .150 and a muzzle wall thickness of .080 before rifling.  Rifling would be Schalck style--wide, flat grooves where the center of the groove is bore diameter and the corners are .006-.008" deep.   My question/concern is would this barrel be safe to shoot with BP and round ball if so rifled?

 I would not use the shotgun barrel personally.

I think it could be safe but might be quite whippy and that might make it inaccurate.

I agree with Daryl 100% and to me,the material the barrel is made from
to even try this would be at the TOP of the list.Some barrels are made from leaded
steels and to me,lead belongs in the load,not the barrel.

Now, if it was a .410 barrel (usually thicker), with full choke, I would rifle the choke, but not the main tube.
That form, a paradox, would likely not work as a muzzleloader.
